As the proud and dedicated owners of Desert Force Academy, Chris and Lyla have committed their lives and efforts to fostering a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels throughout the community.
With more than two decades of combined hands-on experience in the competitive cheer industry, they made the important decision to open Desert Force Academy as a way to continue empowering athletes to build self-confidence, grow as individuals through impactful life lessons, and have a supportive place to truly call home.
Outside the gym, Chris and Lyla are enthusiastic adventurers accompanied by their two adventurous cats. They frequently seek out and explore new destinations, ranging from conquering high, majestic mountain peaks to hiking through lush and scenic forests. Their deep passion for adventure seamlessly translates into the gym environment, where they actively encourage athletes to embrace and face challenges both on and off the mat, instilling a sense of resilience and determination in each individual.
